Come worship with us today! Join us as we grow together in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Saturday
Sabbath School
Sabbath School starts at 9:15 am on Saturdays. There are classes available for all age groups, from the very young to the young at heart. The Sabbath School Department functions as the primary religious education system of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and it has four primary purposes, these are:
- Study of the Scriptures
- Fellowship
- Community outreach
- World mission emphasis
It is here that we get to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a more intimate way. Members study the lesson in the 'Quarterly' (members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church all over the world study the same lesson) during the week and then come to Sabbath School at 9:15am to listen and share our insights, we gain a renewed understanding of the Bible and the plan of salvation.
Divine Service
The Divine Service is from 11:00 to a little after 12:30. This is the time of worship and praise to Jesus Christ. This service starts at 11.00am on Saturdays and its the time where we can unite together, gather strength from the Word of God and learn more about God.
Adventist Youth
This service focuses on the training of the youth for God's service and is held in the main Sanctuary on Saturday afternoons at 4:30pm. The youth department may also hold various programs such as concerts, plays and other interactive and fun sessions.
Sunday
Some people may describe our 6:30pm evening services as 'vespers'. The word vespers means "evening" , but our Sunday evening services are an evangelical experience. Occasionally, we go out into the community to conduct open air (public services) meetings and missionary work.
Wednesday
This is a special time for most members as the focus of this service is prayer. Other services focus on spiritaul growth and develpment but this service is specifically formatted for prayer and worship to God. Come, join us at 7:15pm for prayer or contact us with your prayer requests. We would be happy to lift up your name and needs in prayer.
About our church
Our Vision
By the grace of God, our church shall be the lighthouse of our community, a Sanctuary where hope, peace and the love of God is projected. This will be accomplished as each of our members grows in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ. At the Breath of Life SDA Church, each member is encouraged to discover and develop his or her spiritual gift(s) and to use them to the honor and glory of God. Through the grace of God and under the direction of the Holy Spirit, our outreach ministries will remain committed to taking the gospel to every home in our surrounding territories so that every man, woman, boy and girl can experience the goodness and majesty of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as they prepare to meet him.
Our Mission
The Breath of Life SDA Church is united with the World Church in its mission statement. The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to proclaim to all peoples the everlasting gospel in the context of the Three Angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus as their personal Savior and to unite with His church, and nurturing them in preparation for His soon return.
