The Bible is the foundation for everything we believe. Basing its faith and practice wholly on the Bible, the Seventh-day Adventist Church has developed 28 fundamental beliefs. It is these key beliefs which unify the otherwise very diverse world-wide Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Christ in our lives

God's greatest desire is for you to see a clear picture of His character. When you see Him clearly, you will find His love irresistible. Scripture reveals God's character most clearly in three events: The creation of humanity, the death of Jesus Christ for us, and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

Hope for the future

Scripture also promises Christ will soon return to give eternal life to those who love Him. Resting on the seventh-day Sabbath reminds us God created the world in six days, and points forward to the time we will spend in eternity with Jesus, our Savior. By worshiping on the seventh-day that God blessed, we express our gratitude to Him for our creation and salvation.

The joy of forgiveness

You don't have to be good enough for God to accept you. He loves you and made you to live for eternity with Him. Because Jesus paid the penalty for your sins on the cross, if you accept His promise, He will forgive you, clean you up, and give you a new life through the transforming power of His love
